Ayurveda
The gentle healing wisdom of ancient India
Ayurveda is the ancient healing science of India. It is a ‘knowledge of life’ which aims to restore and maintain a balance of body, mind and soul using traditional healing methods. It also aims to prevent illness through guidance on healthy lifestyle.
It involves an initial assessment of constitution and current state of balance. The treatment approach includes Ayurvedic counselling on diet, lifestyle, psychological and spiritual aspects of health, the use of herbal preparations and Ayurvedic massage therapies.
Ayurveda’s healing methods work in a holistic way to cleanse and restore balance to the body and mind. One of the fundamental principals in Ayurveda is to impart its wisdom to enhance awareness and promote self-healing.
